Tool Tips - NESW Never Eat Soggy Waffles

Why do loads of Tool Tips have a dark background? Because, if it has a dark background, you don't need to style with borders or drop-shadows, which not only make the text harder to read, but complicate the pointer on the anchor.

On hover, the pointer of the Tool Tip is touching either the North, East, South or West. of the anchor. Why? Because that's the way CSS works - Top, Right, Bottom, Left or "Never Eat Soggy Waffles" is a great trick to memorization of North, East, South, West.

I got the waffle trick from my daughter, who's in grade school.
