Conquering my Freehand Fears

I've had the iPad Pro sitting around for years now and just never use it. I've become so comfortable drawing with a mouse that drawing with a pencil/stylus feels alien and fills me with anxiety.
Damn fear of failure.

But this weekend I decided that I'm going to conquer that hold up and forced myself to start drawing on the iPad. Had a play with pro create but my drawings looked terrible so I took a friends recommendation and started playing with Adobe Ideas.

Felt much more familiar from the get go with line smoothing, crisp colours and a clean finish. Though it does still feel like the program is making my work look better than it is, like I'm still rocking training wheels, but it's a step in the right direction.
