Gobustan shawl design / Winner of the Competition

Azerbaijan, a country with rich history, has a number of settlements with traces of prehistoric men. The earliest evidence of human settlement in the territory of Azerbaijan dates back to the Stone Age and is related to the world-famous Azykh Cave. These ornaments belong to the first people in history of Azerbaijan who have drawn these to the rocks. And their settlement was called Gobustan. And this shawl design is the winner of the compatition. Material is made of silk. I wanted to bring the rich history of Azerbaijan with modern touches to the present day.
