ISOC Crest

I had the honour to redesign Islamic Society of Cave Hill's logo. They are a muslim body based at University, the students raise money for charities and contributes to great causes.

I felt a little rusty initially when I was trying to come up with concepts but the ideas flowed after coming back to it.
They settled on a crest for their logo, I wanted the crest to have a modern feel while including elements such as an islamic book/educational book, the blackbird and cricket stump (for cricket being played on their ground) with gorgeous filigree for adornment.

I drafted two designs as they were indecisive as to which logos they wanted. I will post a rebound of the other design.
