Poems - Cat

Part of a series of illustrations for a poetry collection. Here's this one, by Kent Marver:

Beyond our shimmer hide-me glass,
the sun counts down, three quarters mast.
Until the day our fins flash white,
great black bird cometh bring the night.

Crystal light brings word of this,
old minds, ancient finds, nature's chemic keys.

The things the house cat sees.
