Claire's World of Art [Shopify]

This is a website for a very early-stage artist. It uses shopify and the liquid layout engine, adds a few flourishes to a base-theme.

Hardly any non-art assets existed before work on this began and this is the result of several iterations, which ranged from being too advanced to maintain, to too basic to display the art.

This now includes microdata for featured, related products including all variants, which are used here for print options to communicate with search engines and automated parsers.

Careful thought was given to use of we vs me, us vs I, our vs my and other small things.

Fonts used are "Niconne" script for flourishes & "Lato" for body & non-flourish headings at an increased weight. Line-height is a standard 1.6.

Most decisions were made to ensure that the site was fast, and cross-device with a minimum of ie9, android 4, ios 9, safari (edge), chrome 10+, Firefox 20+ with breakpoints for small, medium and large devices as well as a few odd breakpoints for specific elements.
