Rugged Equality

Ive always loved the state of Wyoming and wanted something rugged and iconic for it. The equality state lives up to its name, so I thought it was important to incorporate and equal sign. The border is a carry over from the past flag that symbolized the Native American roots along with the buffalo. 1860 is the year Wyoming became a state.
