Chicago Mobsters

As you probably know if you follow sports, recently WWE CEO Vince McMahon announced he would be bringing back his colossal failure of a football league, the XFL, in 2020. He announced he was looking for 8 cities to put teams in, and Chicago is a major candidate. Therefore, I figured I'd create a word mark and logo for my proposed XFL team, the Chicago Mobsters.

The Chicago Mobsters are an emblem of Chicago's deep ethnic roots, and somewhat dark past. Mobsters ruled the streets of the Windy City in the 1930s, with a flask on the hip and a cigar on the lip, striving to be the Kings of Lake Michigan, always ready to #TakeWhatsOurs.
