Web Application Design for Security Alarm System

Hey, what’s up?

Yesterday I shared a mobile app design we created here for a security alarm system. Today we wanna show you a part of the web application we’re creating for the same company. It’ll be used by security system operators to navigate guard groups, give them all the needed info on a certain object security status as well as the ways to enter the building and so on.

Goals
Creating a UX, UI web app design for security system operators to improve the way they interact with clients and guard groups. Our task was to make the app as user-friendly as possible so that it took operators less time to take all necessary actions when they see a signal.

Approach
One of the requirements for the design was to make it clean and professional-looking, so we didn’t add any excessive elements or heavy color schemes not to distract attention from the main elements that we highlighted in bright red and blue.

Results
We ended up with a clean and intuitive web app design that’ll improve our clients’ product by allowing security system operators work more efficiently which will result in reducing the number of false alarms and the time it takes a guard group to reach an object.
