A illustration series made for "Relay volunteer" project. It is a self-maintained ecosystem for volunteers that allows outgoing volunteers to deliver and communicate their work to the incoming volunteer until the project is finished.

Volunteering work is mutually beneficial - Organizations get help for its projects and volunteers get to give back to society while broadening their vision.

However, the projects may not finish on time and overshoot its budgeting if not managed properly. This is especially true when the volunteers, who only work for a short period, make up a large chunk of an organization’s workforce.

“Relay Volunteer” helps to solve this problem by enabling people to handover their unfinished work to the incoming volunteer.

Relay volunteer helps create an ecosystem in which the current volunteers can share their story and projects to help recruit volunteers. The eco-system allows prospective volunteers who are interested in a specific project to contact the project owner and team. This also enables the existing volunteers to pass on their work before leaving.
