Type Thursday NYC

One of the first things I did when I moved to New York was go to Type Thursday. At first, I had no clue what to expect and I honestly wasn't sure what to make of it. But I knew one thing, that it felt great to be around other designers that were also interested in letters in one way or another, so I decided to go again. And now I find myself there every month.

If you've never been to TypeThursday, here's how it works: four people share something they're working on, talk about it for a couple minutes to give it some context, and then the floor opens up for critique and discussion. It's a very constructive environment filled with wildly interesting and lovely people. Maybe I'll see you there in March?
