Debt Repayment Progress Tracker

This is a debt-repayment progress tracker I’ve been working on recently. This is just a for-fun visual exploration, but the concept and content are based on the real tracker.

I wanted to center the design around having the amount the user has paid off as the metric being tracked. Previously, my client had the tracker only measuring only time (eg. “59 out of 65 months”), but that’s too discouraging for such a long-term plan, particularly when we’re talking about debt. It’s much more encouraging to show a metric that someone actually has agency over (the dollar-amount paid), versus an uncontrollable factor, such as time.
