The Maiden Imperial Stout

Beer art for High Alpine Brewing Company's 'The Maiden' Imperial Stout, a precursor to 'The Matron'. In the background is Mt. Emmons, locally known as 'Red Lady' Mountain. In the course of 39 years, Red Lady has been the target of three mining proposals which the residents of the Gunnison Valley have successfully defeated, but the fight continues year after year. The mountain's close proximity to Crested Butte would significantly effect the environment and the area as a whole. We stand with the Red Lady and pay her homage in this art piece.
