Typographical Whitespace System

I'm a huge advocate for the rule of eight whitespace system whereby each unit of measurement is a division or multiplication of 8.

In this example, we have a heading with 64px or 4rem of margin above and below. In the context of a page, paragraphs are siblings to their parents, which are either headings or subheadings.

In this shot, paragraphs have 16px or 1rem of margin above and below.

Attached is an example of a subheading, caption, and paragraphs. Notably, subheadings have 32px or 2rem of margin above and below.
