El Paso Desperados

Team 18/32 of #TheUFLProject – the El Paso Desperados.

The next franchise, this one based in El Paso, TX, bears the nickname “Desperados” – literally meaning a “reckless person in a desperate situation” – influenced by the history of United States’ criminals fleeing to Mexico.

The Desperados sport a red, black and silver color scheme. The primary logo resembles a western-style bandit with an unkept appearance and is featured on the team’s silver helmet. The team wordmark is a one-off “Desperados” brush script, with a variant of the “El Paso” typeface featured more heavily in the team’s identity. On the nape of the neck on the jerseys (seen in the attachment) is a beveled star, the same star seen lit on the east slope of the Franklin Mountains and also in the city’s flag.
