Cootie Catcher

The cootie catcher was one of my favorite playground pastimes! The origins are a bit murky but I found some fun info on it from Mental Floss. It goes by many names but the one that stood out the most was “salt cellar.” When inverted from how it’s commonly seen, the spaces for the fingers open up to hold and pour salt.
