Simple or minimal design? While it’s elegant it might not matter.
There’s been an ongoing discussion whether designers should strive for simple or minimal (minimalistic) designs. At first, I started to write a critique of designers misusing those two terms. But the more I thought about it, the less important these labels seem. Why should you strive to create elegant designs instead of simple? 🤔
