Grid Friday 2 | Logo for video and photo editing app

Hey guys,
here is the second logo grid from project that I called "Grid Friday" that allow me to share weekly some grids of my logos. I know how important to see the process behind logos, so I hope this grid will be helpful for you guys!

This logo was designed for Brandany , a video and photo editing app. The logo concept represent the coloring process of B letter that perfectly fits for video and photo editing service. The challenge of this logo was to give a natural and dynamic covering effect of B letter with color, so I used the grid to make the coloring lines looks more asymetric, but also balanced and dynamic enough.
