Daily UI Challenge #012 — Ecommerce

My task for today was to create an e-commerce shop/single product page. I wasn't quite sure what to base this design on and previous designers who have tackled this task have designed the shit out of Nike shoes and Dr. Dre headphones which look aesthetically nice don't get me wrong, but in the real world these designs are not user friendly and probably won't convert to a conversion. My surfboard design however hopefully tackles these issues as i've thought about social proof, the psychology of limited stock messages and i've incorporated a next day delivery countdown for those impatient surfers.

This was a quick dummy design, a real website design would be designed on a grid system and would look much neater :)
