Béziersssssssss
A little more work on this style.
On the left is my original point placement. When I start vectoring a new piece of lettering, i'm only focusing on getting the points in the right place.
On the right is the final letter. After the initial points are placed, I spend time massaging each handle and Bézier until it yields the desired letterform.
