Shell Squad Logo and T-Shirt Design

This project was designed for a group that was running a marathon in honor of breast cancer awareness month. The idea of "shell squad" was based on the team captain's, (who is a breast cancer survior) love of sea turtles. I wanted the logo and team name to embody the strength of a breast cancer fighter and survior. I also wanted to incorporate her love for turtles. I did this by designing the logo as a turtle's shell. The logo was created having the turtle's head in between two bold bands, representing the protection and strength a turtle finds in its shell. Also, the team wanted to have a bible verse included on the back of the shirt. I incorported it into the sea turtle theme by designing it as if it was submerged under water. The turtle above the the bible verse is in the shape of a ribbon in honor of breast cancer awarness month.
