Hupia

Greetings Dribbblers. I just wanted to give y'all some insight into the meaning behind the name. The name was taken out of Michael Crichton's opening chapters of the Jurassic Park novel. In the novel hupia are suspected of an attack on an 18-year-old boy working construction of the dinosaur theme park on Isla Nublar. This culprit is later described as a velociraptor. Hupia are also accused of a rash of attacks on infants and other people in rural Costa Rica. They were described as "night ghosts, faceless vampires who kidnapped small children". The mosquito symbol incased in the amber color pallet was also inspired by Jurassic Park. To put it simply I am a huge Jurassic Park nerd and wanted my alias to join the two things I love, logo design and dinosaurs.
