Bro Moment: Billy Kahn

One of the greatest joys of my life was growing up skateboarding and all the awesome friends I met.

Among them was the great Billy Kahn. I recently reconnected with him over Instagram and while looking at his feed became intrigued with his very large handicap tattoo.

I always wondered what the meaning was behind it and then he posted a photo (this drawing is based off of) talking about his brother who would be celebrating his 47th birthday this year. I’m posting the story below because it inspired me:

“My brother would have been 47 this year. Was told he wouldn't make it into his teens. Lived to be 29. If you know somebody that lives their life from a wheelchair, put a skateboard under their feet sometime and go push them around. Team Tim Style ⚡️ RIP”
