LCMS Sheboygan County Hispanic Outreach logo

My church, St. John Lutheran Church in Plymouth, WI, asked me to create a logo for a new Hispanic outreach ministry that the Lutheran church was beginning. The cross at the center of the logo symbolizes Christ as the center of faith. Behind the cross is a rising sun over the shoreline to symbolize a new beginning. Sheboygan, the focal point of the ministry, is a city on the shores of Lake Michigan so I chose to include the shoreline as a graphical element. The logo needed to be bilingual, so I created both Spanish and English versions.
