Thirty Day Logo Challenge - Day 9

Company: "Paint™ is a fantastic mobile app that allows you to take a photo of anything and it will automatically pull up the correct color in multiple formats including Sherwin Williams Paint, PANTONE Color, and many more."

I tried a few different designs. but I ended up with this one. I like the logo for the most part. Its clean, modern, and simple. The logo is colorful as the client wanted and it represents a paint swatch of different "paints." The part of the logo I don't like is its versatility. Paint is a mobile app so I would want my logo to fill up a square icon nice and full, but this one fails to do that. I can make a rounded square with just the P on it, but that would be creating another logo. I'd like to revisit this logo in the future and resolve this.
