#PrayForParis poster
On 13th November 2015 Paris suffered a serious of terrorist attacks that shook the world.
The hashtag #prayforparis was used by 70 million people in less than 24 hours to express solidarity on social media. After all, the hashtag lost its solidarity purpose and became a trend, a way to gain followers. Despite its good intentions, in the end it got completely meaningless.
This poster aims to conceptualize that: criticize how things get banal on social media, even the most horrific and sad events.
