mHUB Identity

Hello, Dribbble! We're so excited to be in the game. MNML is a design studio in Chicago probably best known for products like the Xbox 360 + Kinect, Misfit Ray, and LUNATIK, but we do a lot of work in branding, identity, and UX/UI, too. We're stoked to show you more, get some feedback, and participate in the Dribbble community.

mHUB is Chicago’s first innovation center focused on physical product development and manufacturing. We were invited to strategically partner with them to cultivate and mentor designers, entrepreneurs, and startups in the hub, and as part of our partnership, we had the opportunity to create their brand identity back in 2016.

The “M” in mHUB takes on several meanings, including Make, Manufacture, Mentor, Midwest, Machines, and Momentum. This flexibility became the inspirational guide in developing the “spark” logomark. The mHUB spark represents collaboration, as well as a new acceleration and trajectory.
