Showpad for Gmail: Recommended Content
Audience: Salespeople with Showpad and Salesforce accounts
Problem: When salespeople share files with customers, they don't have much insight into which files might have the biggest impact. They might have access to hundreds of sales files, so finding the right file in the right moment can also take some hunting.
Solution: For Showpad customers who are also connected to Salesforce, we can learn from historical Salesforce data to predict the best content for an email recipient.
With this Chrome Extension installed, a salesperson composes an email in Gmail, opts to attach content from Showpad, and sees customized recommendations of what to share with a particular recipient.
Example of how it works:
We see that you're emailing Katie at Acme Corp, whose email address matches a Salesforce "contact" attached to the Acme Corp "account". That account lists details like what industry this company is in, company size, etc.
We use the details for Acme Corp to find similar accounts with closed sales, and recommend that you share the same files used in those sales, inferring that they might have helped close the sale.
