Loading animation for Android

I need a smooth transition from a chevron to a Material Design like loading spinner to use in the Schiphol app. This feels like a natural solution.

Made in After Effects and I'm currently trying to export it using the Bodymovin plugin. Not going that great btw. 🙈 Also feels like it might be easier to code it using SVG.
