my first little experiment of the new year.

going to try to start cataloging these experiments so I can reference & retrieve them in the future. I think it'd be awesome to be able to see my experiments grow throughout the year and go back to pick from old tricks when I'm running out of ideas toward the end of the year.

as the cataloging system is also an experiment, I'm not sure how well it'll hold up or what it will teach me. but i'm still excited about it.

right now the taxonomy is: Date-Fragment-Grain; where fragment is the number of the experiment and grain is like a piece of that fragment. I'll also try to include contextual details like theme, project, medium, and strategy.

maybe I'm crazy but this seems like a fun experiment.
