JHSM Issue Thirteen Sample Page No. 2

Our thirteenth annual issue of Jackson Hole Snowboarder Magazine is on its way - 96 glorious perfect-bound pages full of snowboarding, mountain culture, and social commentary.

This is a second sample page from the magazine - this time showing the Editor's Note that kicks it off. This showcases another of the stylistic techniques we use which is letting images be full-bleed backgrounds for text. There's something really cinematic in seeing these highly dynamic action shots splashed across whole pages and spreads. It ties the writing directly into the tactile experience of snowboarding itself and I love it!
