Video Editing Mobile Application Design

Hello friends!

Do you know that feeling when you need to edit some video on your phone, but you just can’t do it fast and easily ‘cause there’s no application allowing you to do so? Well, we’re creating a design for a mobile app that’s exactly what you need. With this video editing mobile app you’ll be able to cut, split, merge and trim your video, improve Saturation and Contrast for a better quality image and add background music to your video.

Goals
Creating a good user interface design of the app making it enjoyable and easy to use. Adding all the necessary options and features that would make the video editing process quick and smooth as never before.

Approach
We decided to divide all the image improving tools into several sections to navigate a better technology experience. We also added the “Back” and “Forward” buttons allowing the user to open the previous and following versions of the video and edit them once again as all of the versions are saved automatically. Black and white color palette makes the app look clean and elegant while bright color use allows putting accents on the main elements of the app.

Results
We ended up with a stylish and intuitive mobile app design aimed at facilitating the video editing process. This is WIP though. Stay tuned to see further updates. Let us know what you think of this.
