Radness cont.

*top*

Meet Bradish, often referred to as Nerdish by his classmates. Brad’s a 6th grade radish who just wants to get out of the vegetable garden. He hopes to pursue a career in a large field to save plants from beetles, but he often feels discouraged. After weeks of being bullied by the beets, Bradish finally found the inspiration to accept himself and became confident in who he is as a vegetable. The beets were pulled, and Bradish doesn’t know it yet, but eventually he’ll grow to become the first root to save a corn field.

The story behind Radness is the idea of self-love and inner acceptance. This concept is what drives your life and your purpose; it’s important to be confident in yourself in order to fully honor and channel your abilities. Radness promotes the idea that we are all uniquely valuable, and have strong qualities and characteristics that make us who we are - qualities to be proud of, and qualities that give us the ability to do great things.

Embrace your inner Radness and go change the world… or if that’s too intimidating, start with learning to appreciate yourself the way you deserve to be seen, just how Bradish taught me to be more of a rad designer during this project.
