SAML Logo

Working at Okta, a lot of what we do revolves around SAML (Security Assertion Markup Language). I noticed it doesn't have any strong branding or logo currently, which kind of makes creating SAML-centric content a challenge. Since I needed a SAML logo, I made one myself.

SAML, via Wikipedia, exchanges "authentication and authorization data between parties, in particular, between an identity provider and a service provider". SAML makes requests and assertions, which simplifies down to data coming in and data going out. It's an exchange. So I have an arrow coming in to represent the request, and an arrow going out to represent the assertion. They form the 'S' for SAML, and are laid out on top of a shield, which emphasizes security (the whole point of it all!).
