Trainbot Notification

A month ago, I went for a train hackathon for a weekend 48h non-stop. It was so inteeense but so worth it!

The main focus was to find a better understanding of the perception gap between passengers’ general views and their actual experiences. Asking the main question, how could we use this to better incentivise TOC*s to improve satisfaction?

So our aim was to
- Increase customer experience satisfaction
- Improve operator responsiveness
- Generate accessible TOC level data

How does it start? Creating a chatbot with 3 customer touch points during the journey:
- Welcome: After 10' min of your journey
- How is it going?: Half of your journey
- Check up: On your arrival
All this data went to a real-time feedback dashboard.

This post focus on the notification. We used an iOS feature called Rich Push Notification. We sketched some ideas and prototyped it with AE.
