The lamb on the Preston coat of arms represents St. Wilfrid who is the Patron Saint of Preston. The letters 'PP' mean "Prince of Peace."
Preston, England was also world's first foreign mission of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The first baptisms took place in the RiverRibble on July 30, 1837.
