I recently had the opportunity to work with an amazing client that is looking to bring the 21st century into the American agricultural production workforce. To my surprise, a significant portion of America' farmers still operates on pen and paper. Holding literal files in cabinets to comply with the overwhelming amount of records and compliances required by the FDA and beyond.

The idea behind spudGAP is to streamline everything and utilize the power of the cloud. Automate the records needed and open up the database to be able to connect and network with the needed agencies, employees, and farming community.

The goal of trying to create an identity that fit into the tech-based market as well as feel approachable to a demographic of workers that have been a bit left behind was the umbrella of direction. Here is a look at how the custom type and mark was built. We harnessed the structure of the leaf and constructed everything around it. It's been one of the more rewarding and pleasing projects I've tackled in a long time - and I'm looking forward to the next phases!
