Scribd- "Nothing in your library"

Part of the system of empty and error state illustrations done for Scribd's 2016-17 rebrand project.

This is a graphic that appears when a user hasn't saved any content to their "saved" section- which is essentially their library. The goal here was to show the bookcase and show that they can store content here. Side note: I like this cactus.

The spot illustration colors were adapted to this more subdued palette to help further emphasize the empty/error user cases. I kept a single accent color on the focus element to help tie it to the context.
