Brief Randomizer Concept
Hey, dribbblers! Today I want to show you some curious concept.
Sometimes I got letters from the design newbies and the most popular question is: “How to fill my portfolio before getting a real job?” When I was starting my career I’ve asked the same question and that’s why I decided to make this concept.
It’s supposed to be a website where you can get an imaginary task from the imaginary client to practice your skills and maybe fill your portfolio. It can be helpful because you will be restricted with the topic and some special requirements, not only creating similar dribbble shots for design studios or other super-interesting but unreal clients.
This system generates a random task for you. You can:
- Set the general area of work (e.g. UX/UX or Illustration)
- Choose the difficulty level (the more complicated ones will have more special requirements)
- You can also set a deadline if you want to practice like you are on the real task
Also you can refresh one of the requirements or the whole brief if you don’t like it.
Of course it’s still not a real brief so the result won’t be very smart from the UX side and it won’t teach you to work with the client’s content. But anyway it’s better than nothing :)
Do you think such service could be helpful? Would you use it if you are only starting your design path?
