Avicenna

The story goes back to that one time I had an appointment with a physician, whom happened to be of Greek origin.
His winsome demeanor prompted me to ask a few questions (about medicine) and momentarily get distracted from my own agonizing pain. One of the few things which I realized during our talk was that, while Avicenna is known as the Father of (modern) Medicine, in fact, it is Hippocrates who is the “Godfather” of Medicine and I personally had no idea about this fact, at all.

This is to Ibn Sina, a childhood inspiration of mine.
(Slide II) Also, to add that true medicine and healing come from within, nature and even from one’s own kitchen. In this case, I could wholeheartedly testify: Hippocrates is correct.
