DOT

Wassup.

Hehe, it's fun coming up with random strings of characters and act like they have some meaning. I guess it just motivates my mind to grab at some sort of meaning. Meaning that really isn't all there since this is just for fun. It's hard to think of what to design for fun, but it's easier to just design something from impulse (at least for me).

To be fair though, that lack of direction made me take much longer to come up with this design than I'm happy to admit. Despite its simple appearance, I spent a lot of time trying to make it intricate and complex. I played a lot with various patterns and images being overlayed. I wanted to try and see if those circles and the "liquid" look to it could play well together.

Ultimately, I was getting frustrated trying to see what those shapes could contain. In the end, I decided to focus on just the shape themselves. Threw a lot of colours and gradients around, but nothing made me happy. Finally, I just stripped it down further to try and capture the original idea I had going for it, before getting distracted by the numerous possibilities!

What does it mean? Who knows? I don't.
