Kirstine Supine - from the album To be Kind by Swans

Hello dribbblers!

Kistin Supine draws inspiration from one of my personal favorites movies, Melancholia by Lars Von Trier so it was a double pleasure to make this poster.
The lyrics offer multiple references to scenes of the movie and synthesise perfectly the core message it.
Both the movie and the song explore the idea of inevitable death, representing it of a shadow always hovering.
The idea of a planet crashing into the earth put the movie characters in a situation that they have no other choice than to confront death putting them in a position of distress towards their fate.
