Toussaint L'Ouverture - from the album To be Kind by Swans

Hello everyone!

The song that follows Bring the Sun serves as an homage to Toussaint L'Ouverture, the 18th century Haitian revolutionary that lead the Haitian independence movement that became the first successful victory against a colonialist occupation.
This song has a very interesting sonic composition, including recordings of horses and whistles that depicts the environment where Toussaint fought. By Mixing those sounds with more sensorial sounds Swans create a strong feeling of tension throughout the whole song.
