The second piece of To be Kind is a song that in the words of Michael Gira (composer) was written in a very intuitive way.
The dedication to Chester Burnett ( a.k.a Howlin Wolf) comes from the kinship that Gira felt with Wolf regarding the way he approached this song, describing Wolf has a very powerful performer that in some way was very infantile even in the manner he sang.

The way Gira repeats the sentences "I need love" and "I'm just a little boy" come to me has a very strong proof that the children that the author once was, is still very present. The craving for love and the motherhood references also contribute to that message of eternal vulnerability.
