Portland

Portland - Oregon’s weirdest and largest city sits at the foot of snow-capped Mount Hood. It’s known for its record amount of records, its parks, bridges and bicycle paths, as well as the eco-friendly communities, microbreweries and coffeehouses. But far beyond this lively community is the contrasting Rose Garden; the oldest continuously operating public rose test garden in the United States. With over 7,000 rose plants of approximately 550 varieties, this garden is such a unique setting that this nickname 'Rose City’ stood the test of time, and ROSE above all the other weird and wonderful attractions of this city.

Town Squares is a proactive project, a weekly tribute to the art of postage stamp design. The entire set can be viewed on instagram @town_squares.
