The new suspended fetal development lifepods, they support human life being transported to other planets for new colonies.

They mature on the way out to their destination, eliminating the need of a birth mother. These genetically altered children will be better adapted to the atmosphere of their destination planets. They are called Homo Cosmicus.

The pods are filled with synthetic placental fluid and fitted with an environment similar to natural birthing conditions.
