This past weekend, my family traveled to Tarrytown/Sleepy Hollow NY to attend a funeral for one of my mom's relatives.

Despite the unfortunate circumstances, I enjoyed being right on the Hudson river - finding myself a few feet from the river during a beautiful, chilly sunset. I chose to make the colors and orientation more surreal, and to play up the heightened contrast of my original source photo.
