Linog Sisters 6

I went old school on this one. I attached a shot of my tools and rough sketches. The Linog Sisters theme this Thursday (try sayin' that three times fast) was color blocking. I didn't want the background to compete so goin the black, white and grey scale was a no brainer. I attempted to do this in photoshop but it kept coming out too crisp. My lines were straight and nearly perfect and were somehow distracting. I decided to use hand drawn lines cuz, as you can clearly see, I can't draw a straight line for the life of me. This felt so much better to my eye so I went with it. I added the color using a pastel brush in Ps.
It's amazing how much an artist can take for granted using Photoshop and Illustrator! This was a nice excursion to the old way for me. Mad props to the artists before the digital age.
