Rice Paper — Bánh Cuốn

This is a project from BriefBox.me where I was tasked with designing icons for a Vietnamese restaurant, called Rice Paper, opening it's first location in Barcelona. After doing some research, I realized just how complex Vietnamese cuisine is, and decided to use that as my concept inspiration.

Rice Paper is a fun and creative restaurant that encourages the exploration of its diners. Ingredients are shown as portions of a "pie" to help a Vietnamese food newbie distinguish what their meal is made up of.

The first meal I tackled was the the Bánh Cuốn, a traditional Vietnamese dish made up of steamed fermented rice batter filled with a mixture of cooked seasoned ground pork, minced wood ear mushroom, and minced shallots.

Those familiar with the cuisine, how'd I do?
