DBoP - Databank of Plants
Ever since Humanity and it’s civilizations have become huge scales, the destruction of earths biodiversity is getting threatening proportions. To make rebuilding the earths flora a possible thing, or maybe even terraforming another planet someday, DBoP should be a resource for that. This is it’s primary goal, the preservation of plant-seeds and not letting the world forget a single one.
So DBoP (Database of Plants) is the library for most of the plants of the flora on planet earth. On it’s online platform users can search for any possible plants, view details and read about them. There is also a commercial use. An online shop is integrated in the platform where people can buy seeds for their own use.
I really like this idea and think to continue working it further out in the next few weeks, so stay tuned ;)
Now to the interface:
Due to the size of iPhone X (which i chose because I really like the rounded corners of it's screen) i decided to make a navigation concept where you don't always have to reck your thump diagonal over the entire screen and then drop your phone on the ground. The bottom navigation is much more reachable for one-hand-users.
